12 april 2021 Mood In The Opera Hall With The "Four Twins" On Sunday
On Sunday morning, the Opera Hall reopened its doors for performances - after the break imposed for objective reasons.
With the musical comedy for young and old "The Four Twins", based on the wonderful music of Georgi Kostov and the libretto - in the style of "Bulgarians of old", by Pancho Panchev, today was told again the tale of the power of promise, the timeless real feelings, for the weight of gold - depending on the work and love invested in it, for the choices and the importance of good traditions.
The conductor of the musical accompaniment is Yordan Daffov.
The production is by Alexander Tekeliev, the direction is by Darina Glavanakova-Bakardzhieva, the scenography is by Ivan Tokadjiev, the costume designer is Anna Tokadjieva, and the dances, performed entirely in folk style, are Galina Kalcheva.
Concertmaster - Yordan Kovachev.
Assistant directors of the production are Lina Peeva and Petar Tiholov, who were on stage in the roles of Aunt Gena and Chorbadji Petko.
Branimir Nedkov, as always, was fresh, artistic and very different in the roles of all four twins - Pastryo, Chernyo, Belcho, and Zhelcho.
Vessela Apostolova was as charming and spontaneous as Bonka / Boncho. And in the role of the Storyteller, she incarnated - with skill and dignity, Rositsa Videva.
In the performance, which was traditionally welcomed by both children and their parents, it was with the attractive participation of artists from the ballet ensemble of the State Opera - Burgas.
