27 february 2024 Registration For "Sara-Nora Prima" 2024 Begins On March 1
After the undisputed success of the first edition of the First International Ballet Competition "Sara-Nora Prima" 2023 and the International Ballet Academy "Sara-Nora Master", organized by, International Ballet Association "Sara-Nora Prima" International Ballet Association SARA - NORA PRIMA Sara-Nora Krysteva and Burgas State Opera, with the support of the Municipality of Burgas, under the patronage of the Mayor of the Municipality of Burgas - Mr. Dimitar Nikolov, and with the financial assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria, the second edition of the prestigious forum is coming - from 1 until July 6 of this year in the State Opera Hall - Burgas.
A few days ago, the laureate of the First "Sara-Nora Prima" competition - Anastasiya Popova Anastasiya Popova was brilliant in the main role of Lisa in the ballet LA FILLE MAL GARDÉE on the stage of the Burgas Opera, and her stage performance was awarded by the director of the State Opera - Burgas - Assoc. Dr. Alexander Tekeliev Alexander Tekeliev, who provided her, as well as Tiago Victor Santana /Brazil/, soloist of the State Opera - Ruse, who participated in a performance of "Swan Lake" on stage at the Summer Theater in Burgas in August 2023, together with the prima ballerina of the Sofia Opera and Ballet Boryana Petrova and the premier ballerina of the National Opera and Ballet and State Opera - Burgas Emil Yordanov.
Kircho Zhelyazkov, also a laureate of the competition, received a one-year contract with the Burgas Cultural Institute and is part of the ballet troupe of the Opera.
On March 18, the staged Burgas Opera will have a new performance by Margarita Cheromukhina, who was honored in the first edition of the competition, prima ballerina of the National Opera and Ballet of the Republic of Serbia, who was also awarded by Prof. Tekeliev with a tour on the Burgas stage. She will perform as Princess Aurora in the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" to music by P. I. Tchaikovsky. \
On June 30, 2024, immediately before the official opening of the Second International Ballet Competition "Sara-Nora Prima", laureates of the First Competition will take part in the spectacle of "Don Quixote" directed by Galina Kalcheva, as in the main roles - of Kitri and Basil, will be the winners of the first prize /for women and men in group C/ - Polina Ivanova Polina Ivanova and Simeon Atanasov Simeon Atanasov.
The prize fund of the competition is new, which is worth BGN 40,000, and many additional prizes are planned!

II International Ballet Competition "Sara-Nora Prima" July 01-06, 2024 SARA-NORA PRIMA INTERNATIONAL BALLET COMPETITION

✔️Group A / 9-12 years.
two classical variations and one contemporary choreography
✔️Group B / 13-16 years and
✔️Group C / 17-26 yrs.
four classical variations or two pas de deux and one contemporary choreography
The SARA-NORA MASTER SARA-NORA MASTER International BALLET ACADEMY /master classes, repertoire, modern techniques/ will be held
from July 1, 2024, to July 9, 2024. in the building of the State Opera - Burgas.
Anyone can participate in the academy, without the requirement of professional training.

✔️ Participants can take part by choice: only in the competition, only in the academy or both at the same time.
