On Friday night, August 13, at 20.30 soloists and choir of the State Opera - Burgas will present a brilliant concert "Toast". The musical event will cheer up the audience in the open space of the Flora Exhibition Center. The concert is part of the summer program of the Burgas Opera "Flora Party" 2021. Responding to the title with a festive flavor, the musical themed evening will include famous compositions by Johann Strauss , Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Georges Bizet, Alexander Borodin, Giuseppe Verdi, united by the idea of the toast - as a symbol of shared good mood and wishes for a controversial and blessed future, despite the difficult times we live in and the unpredictable future. in June 2020, also in the garden of the Expo Center "Flora" and passed with expected success.This year the soloists: Joana Zhelezcheva, Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova, Shmilena Sultanova, Yani Nikolov, Alexander Krunev, Branimir Nedkov, Diman Panchev and Kostadin Mechkov, the choir of the State Opera - Burgas, with conductor Nevena Mihailova, as well as the accompanist Mira Iskarova, will create a festive atmosphere - with a presence twie, talent and a shared emotional palette.
The program of the concert "Toast" will include: "Toast" from the operetta "The Bat" by Johann Schraus, performed by sopranos Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova and Shmilena Sultanova, along with Branimir Nedkov, baritone. From the same work of the Austrian composer will sound: "Aria of Prince Orlovski", presented by Shmilena Sultanova, and "Aria of Rosalinda", performed by Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova. Two "Toasts" - from the opera "Don Juan" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and from the opera "The Bell" by Gaetano Donizetti, will be performed by Branimir Nedkov. "Aria of the Toreador", also from "Carmen", will be performed by the baritone Alexander Krunev, whom we will hear with "Toast" from the opera "Othello" by Giuseppe Verdi. Diman Panchev's bass voice will be heard in "Ralph's Aria" from the opera "The Beauty of Perth". Kostadin Mechkov, bass, will present an aria by Prince Galitsky from the opera "Prince Igor" by Alexander Borodin. "Toast" from "Macbeth" and "Bolero of Elena" from the opera "Sicilian Evenings" / both operas are by Giuseppe Verdi / we will hear performed by soprano Joanna Zhelezcheva. The tenor Yani Nikolov will perform the Neapolitan canzoneto "Don't forget me" / Non ti scordar di me / by the composer Ernesto de Curtis.
The bravura finale of the concert with a festive title and message will be perhaps the most popular "Toast" from the opera - from "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi, in which the singers raise a glass of champagne - as a symbol of sparkling mood and refined attitude to life and good taste.
