30 november 2023 Stage Fеst With "The Bat" At The Opera House

The last evening of November was subject to the Viennese taste for aristocratic life, in the rhythm of the waltz, the polka, the quadrille, and the can-can-a - with one of the most famous works of Johann Strauss-son THE BAT / DIE FLEDERMAUS in the hall of the Burgas Opera.
Fascinating were the dynamics, the grace, the intelligent sense of humor, the whirlwind dances, and the wonderful interaction between the artists - united by the wonderful Straussian music, "subjected" to the masterful baton of the famous Bulgarian conductor Ivan Kozhuharov.
Guest soloists Edelina Kaneva and Marcho Apostolov were the usual magnificent stage tandem - in the roles of Rosalinda and Eisenstein.
A bravura party presented the soprano Maria Tsvetkova-Madjarova - as the ambitious cunning Adela - maid in the home of Rosalinda and Eisenstein.
All the other soloists performed brilliantly - both vocally and artistically: Lina Peeva /Ida/, Yani Nikolov /Alfred/, Yordan Hristozov /Doctor Falke/, Miroslav Dimitrov /Doctor Blind/, Kostadin Mechkov /Frank/, Shmilena Sultanova /Knyaz Orlovski/ and Petar Tiholov /Frosh/.
Admirations for the choir - with conductor Alexander Chepanov, and the ballet - tutor Marina Zmeeva-Markova - were a real sumptuous addition to the overall festive picture!
Congratulations also to all the specialists from the technical services, who presented a show at a high aesthetic level!
At the end of the performance, during the well-deserved ovation from the ecstatic audience, a basket of flowers was presented on behalf of the Mayor of Burgas Municipality - Mr. Dimitar Nikolov.
