02 november 2023 Teodosi Spasov and Borislav Yotsov With An Exceptional Concert

On the second day of November and the first in which autumn really entered its domain - with rain and a cold breeze, the numerous audience in the hall of the Burgas State Opera was warmed - by the art of world musicians, which cannot be put into words - it speaks through the messages embedded in the musical fabric, experienced by the artist with which it is filled...
The words would be pale reflections of the universally felt beauty - like a reflection in the crystal soul of the people's self-awareness, which encoded the song of the Bulgarian soul, carried like an echo for centuries, in the concert performance THEODOSII SPASOV & BORISLAV YOTZOV / THEODOSII SPASOV & BORISLAV YOTZOV ...
There is no stronger impact on our psyche than the rhythm of the Bulgarian memory, which pulsates - like a wild round dance, step by step, towards spiritual purification and flight...
This magic - like a calling, like a blessing, carrying legends beyond the limitations of time, was created tonight!
Extraterrestrially talented and standing high, high - as a spirit, human and professional presence, dimensions of talent that overflow any generally accepted outlines, the great Teodosii Spasov - rightly called "the horseman of the world", and Borislav Yotzov Borislav Yotzov - amazing clarinetist, who skillfully juggled between the instrument and the baton.
Worthy partners at the colossal height inherent to the great performers who conquered the world stages were also the orchestras of the Burgas Opera, with concertmaster Vanya Zlateva.
The musicians were immersed in the magical reality of what was created on the stage - by great artists as if they were participants in a sacrament.
A night to remember for sure!
Rositsa Toncheva Rosito Toncheva, double bass, was the soloist in the highly original "Small piece", which was composed for double bass, clarinet, kaval, and... metronome - this was the little wink to the audience, as a message that life, after all, is not should be taken so seriously...
And, as a philosophical capitulation - it's really nice.
And exciting.
And tonight he proved that - full sound.
In the balanced, professionally presented, and extremely emotional concert
program sounded: "Three symphonic paintings" by Angel Zaberski, "Concertino for Kaval and clarinet" by Hristo Yotsov, Concerto for Kaval and clarinet by Theodosii Spasov and several miniatures - like real musical pearls, carrying the vital spirit of talent that reaches everyone - with the language of life, unadulterated, beautiful-sounding and full of authentic feelings art.
And the applause - spontaneous and containing all the delight of the lucky ones who attended an event of similar rank, and the flowers, and the shared smiles and exchange of emotions, were a happy coda of a concert that could rightly be called a cultural event.
