On April 28, Friday, at 7 pm, in the hall of the Burgas Opera, the fans of classical music will sound works of the Viennese classics Mozart and Beethoven. The program of the concert "Viennese Classics 2" is ideologically united in the framework of the artists from the Vienna Classical School, bearing the characteristics of European style, aristocratic attitude to the world and refined musical form. The conductor of the Burgas Opera Orchestra Tsanislav Petkov has selected for the concert Symphony №29 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Symphony №2 by Ludwig van Beethoven. The concertmaster is Yordan Kovachev. The young conductor recently conducted the orchestra of the State Opera - Burgas at the symphony concert on April 16, this year. The first concert of the series "Vienna Classics" was on September 17, 2020, conducted by Yordan Dafov. The 2020/2021 Season of the Burgas Opera was officially opened with the concert event.
Immediately after the Easter holidays - on May 8, at 11 am, the musical for children by Alexander Yosifov "Patilantsi" will delight the youngest viewers. The funny stories about Baba Tsocolana, Patilancho and his famous company, through music and dance, will be told by the artists: Magdalena Georgieva, Darina Zapryanova, Petar Tiholov, Alexander Perperiev, Branimir Nedkov, Vessela Apostolova, Radostina Kranteva, Milena Dinolov and Miroslav Dimitrov. The entertaining production, directed by Darina Glavanakova-Bakardzhieva, assistant directors - Lina Peeva and Petar Tiholov, set design by Ivan Tokadzhiev / who created the incredible setting of the premiere performance of the ballet "Giselle" recently / and dances by Galina Kalcheva, also includes artists from the ballet ensemble of the Burgas Opera. And to the delight of the children - a real dog participates on the stage as an actor!
On May 9, at 7 pm, also in the Opera Hall, is the concert "Songs of Europe", which is dedicated to Europe Day. Soloists of the Burgas Opera take part in it, and the repertoire is selected from the diverse song creativity of the EU member states. Participants: Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova, Nona Krastnikova, Joana Kadiyska, Yani Nikolov, Branimir Nedkov, Kostadin Mechkov. On the piano - Daria Krasteva and Nina Reichel.
On May 13 is the comic opera by VA Mozart "The Wedding of Figaro", conducted by Tsanislav Petkov, directed by Pavel Gerdjikov, conducted by Nevena Mihaylova, concertmaster - Vanya Zlateva. Soloists are: Kostadin Mechkov, Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova, Nona Krastnikova, Branimir Nedkov / debut /, Lina Peeva, Kalina Popova / debut /, Diman Panchev, Yani Nikolov, Petar Tiholov, Stefka Hristozova. On May 16 is the baroque concert "Time Travel". The artist of the project is Diana Avelova, a young artist who studies fine arts and costume at the Academy of Performing Arts in Paris. Participants in the concert: sopranos Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova and Nona Krasnikova, on the piano - Mira Iskarova.

On May 26 is the concert "Mozart Forever", with the participation of Joana Zhelezcheva - soprano, Daniela Dyakova - mezzo-soprano, and Delyan Slavov - bass. On the piano - Daria Krasteva and Nina Reichel. The program includes arias, duets and thirds from Mozart's opera.
On May 28, the musical by Cole Porter "Kiss me, Kate!", Directed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alexander Tekeliev, conductor - Tsanislav Petkov, scenography and costumes - Denis Ivanova, choreography - Zhelka will bring a unique mood to the stage of the Burgas Opera.
