03 august 2020 Tsarevo Was Captivated By The Rhythms Of Tango
On the hot Friday night, the last of July, the orchestra and ballet dancers of the State Opera - Burgas, conducted by maestro Svilen Simeonov, with concertmaster - Hristo Belchev, presented in Tsarevo the concert Le grand tango. The program featured iconic tangos by Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel, Jacob Gade, Julio Sanders, and Pedro Pinha. On the stage by the Tsar's Sea, some of the most beloved melodies and rhythms of tango sounded, which became a symbol of the southern temperament. In addition to Argentine tango, the audience was introduced to musical themes from the Beatles, a jazz version of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, the exciting melody from the film "Schindler's List", as well as works from other musical projects by conductor Svilen Simeonov. He again achieved an emotional bridge with the audience, which was charged with a mood with an aesthetic flavor.
The soloist - the young violinist Ralitsa Petkova, sculpts with her instrument exciting melodies, saturated with emotion, temperament, and carrying messages, to which only art can be a conductor.
A dynamic accent in the concert performance was the participation of two pairs of ballet dancers from the artistic staff of the State Opera - Burgas, who presented the beauty and passionate style of Argentine tango, united in the overall appearance of the concert performance choreographed by Galina Kalcheva. The natural setting of the sea, the peninsula, the picturesque cliffs, and the last July sunset were an added image to the messages of the beautiful music.
The mayor of Tsarevo Georgi Lapchev was noticed in the audience, as well as representatives of the municipal administration.
