18 february 2022 A Wonderful "Nutcracker" On Friday Night At The Opera

In the warm Friday evening in February in the hall of the Bourgas Opera was presented the brilliant ballet performance of Prof. Hikmet Mehmedov "THE HAZELNUT CRUSHER", based on the immortal music of PI Tchaikovsky.

The beautiful story of Masha and the Nutcracker, who in the girl's dream becomes a Prince, was retold on the Burgas stage - through the means of fine ballet, the soloists and the ensemble of the State Opera - Burgas, under the expert guidance of tutor Galina Kalcheva.
The young ballerina, winner of numerous national and international awards - Emona Georgieva, made her impressive debut as Masha. Beautiful, technical, with an aristocratic demeanor, stable and precise in every detail was the 19-year-old debutante in the role, giving a serious application for a rich artistic career.
In the image of the Nutcracker / Prince was Teodor Tsakov, who was in a successful stage partnership with Emona.
The role of the Black Queen was played by the whirling Yana Berduta. Svetlan Nikolov entered the image of the sorcerer Droselmeyer. Alexandra Raeva from the Children's Ballet Theater "Kapka" presented herself as Fritz - again superbly, who made a successful debut in the role in December on the Burgas stage. In the images of Masha's friends were the charming Iva Ovcharova and Natalie Ivanova, Masha's mother - the stylish Anelia Ivanova. The attractive ensembles included: Spanish dance - Laya Ramon and Kiril Filipov, Indian dance - Elena Georgieva, Bianca-Helen Giovanelli and Stoyan Fartunov, Chinese dance - Daniela Turtumanova-Stoyanova and Daniel Tichkov, Russian dance - Ivana Fialalkova, Maria Sobalkova, Maria Soibalska, Maria Gaiabalkova, Maria Galiarovska, Maria Soibalska, Maria Soibalkova, and Stefan Tipikov, Pink Waltz - Anelia Ivanova, Natalie Ivanova, Laya Ramon, Daniela Turtumanova-Stoyanova, Daniel Tichkov, Kiril Filipov, Stoyan Fartunov, Stefan Tipikov, "Snowflakes" - soloists: Laya Ramon and Natalie Ivanova.
The charming talented alumni of the Children's Ballet Theater "Kapka" also took part in the large-scale performance, rich in colors, messages, and emotions.
At the end of the successful performance, respected by a large audience, the traditional basket of flowers was presented on behalf of the Mayor of Burgas - Mr. Dimitar Nikolov. Emona Georgieva received a bouquet for her brilliant debut.

Another ballet festival took place in the hall of the Burgas Opera.
For the admirers of the fine arts, the Burgas Cultural Institute has prepared on March 29 the performance "Cinderella" to the music of Sergei Prokofiev, directed and directed by Prof. Hikmet Mehmedov.
