09 december 2023 A Wonderful Performance Of "The Nutcracker" Today At The Opera
❄️✨On a frosty December Saturday day, the hall of the Burgas Opera House was a warm haven for the wonderful, numerous audience, who respected the performers in the most Christmas ballet - "The Nutcracker" - and with care and respectful respect for the art created by the performers during the two acts of the wonderful piece with music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and directed by Prof. Hikmet Mehmedov /reenactment - Galina Kalcheva/. and with a well-deserved standing ovation at the end of the second performance of the holiday series, which includes performances in Haskovo /on December 13/, again in Burgas - on December 19, and in Nessebar - on December 22.
❄️✨After the wonderful performance in yesterday's performance - in front of a full hall of students from "Konstantin Preslavski" High School /with soloists: Yana Berduta and Daniel Tichkov/, today in the roles of Masha and the Nutcracker, who becomes in the prince - in the girl's dream, entered - again flawlessly, Daniela Turtumanova and Teodor Tsakov. In the other roles and ensembles were the artists who performed yesterday - also brilliantly, on the stage of the Opera House.
A fairy-tale reality was revealed to a large audience - through the masterful staging of the famous work, in which the characters are presented with slight differences from the generally accepted interpretations, and precisely for that reason - more in-depth, original, and impactful.
❄️✨After the performance, comments were heard from those present in the hall that it was this innovative approach that they liked and pleasantly surprised them.
Admirations for all the artists from the ballet troupe at the State Opera - Burgas with tutor Galina Kalcheva - they showed class and undoubted mastery - both in the solo performances and in the ensembles, which were performed with synchrony and ease!
❄️✨Congratulations also to the wonderful young ballerinas from the Children's Ballet Theater "Kapka", who brought childlike purity and ease into the overall atmosphere of the performance!
After the end of the performance, many children came on stage with flowers for the performers who had impressed and captivated them with their art - this is a good sign of continuity, speaking of the role of art in the education of adolescents.
